How we collect, use, and protect your information when you contact us or visit our website.

Last updated: July 12, 2026  ·  Brewed Security Consulting LLC

The short version

We collect only what you give us through our contact form. We use it to respond to your inquiry. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything else. If you want it deleted, just ask.

Who We Are

Brewed Security Consulting LLC is a local network security and cybersecurity consulting firm serving businesses in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky. Our website is brewedsecurity.com.

Questions about this policy can be directed to us at sales@brewedsecurity.com or by calling (513) 285-6631.

What Information We Collect

We only collect information you voluntarily provide through our contact form. This may include:

  • Your name
  • Your company name
  • Your work email address
  • Your phone number (optional) — if you provide it and opt in, we may use it to send you conversational, project-related text messages (see "Text Messages (SMS)" below)
  • A description of your inquiry or network environment

We do not collect any information passively from visitors who don't fill out our form beyond the standard, non-identifying request logs described below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit solely to:

  • Respond to your consultation request
  • Schedule and conduct a security assessment or consultation call
  • Follow up on our conversation if you've asked us to

We do not send marketing emails, add you to any mailing lists, or contact you for any reason unrelated to your inquiry without your explicit consent.

Text Messages (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and check the SMS opt-in box on our contact form (or opt in through a signed agreement or by texting us first), we may use your number to send you conversational, project-related text messages. This section explains how we handle the information tied to those messages.

  • What we collect. Your mobile phone number, your opt-in choice (whether you checked the box), and the date and time you consented — kept as a record of your consent.
  • How we use it. Only for conversational, project-related messaging: scheduling and reminders, project status updates, requests for missing information or approvals, follow-up questions, and letting you know a deliverable is ready. We do not use SMS for unrelated marketing or promotional messages unless you separately opt in to those.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your project's activity.
  • Costs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or reply HELP for help. You can also contact us at sales@brewedsecurity.com or (513) 285-6631. Opting out won't affect your project — we'll simply coordinate by email or phone instead. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of doing business with us.
  • No sale or sharing for third-party marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile opt-in information or phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in data is used only to deliver the messaging described above, and is shared only with the messaging providers that help us send those texts.

These SMS practices are also described in our Terms of Service.

How Your Form Data Is Handled

Our contact form is powered by Web3Forms, a third-party form processing service. When you submit the form, your information is transmitted to their servers and then forwarded to our email inbox.

Web3Forms' own privacy policy governs how they handle data in transit. Once received in our inbox, your information is stored only as long as needed to complete our engagement. We do not maintain a marketing database.

Third-Party Services on This Website

Our website loads the following third-party resources:

  • Font Awesome (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — provides the icons used throughout the site. Cloudflare may log requests to their CDN per their own privacy policy.
  • Google Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, non-identifying traffic patterns. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on.
  • CISA & NIST NVD (threat dashboard only) — our Threat Intelligence Dashboard fetches publicly available vulnerability data directly from U.S. government APIs. No personal information is transmitted in these requests.
  • corsproxy.io / allorigins.win (threat dashboard only) — used as intermediaries for API requests where needed. These services see the API URLs being requested but not any personal data.

Data Retention

We retain your contact information only for as long as necessary to fulfill your request and conduct our business engagement. If you'd like us to delete your information at any time, contact us and we will do so promptly.

Your Rights

Regardless of where you're located, you have the right to:

  • Ask what information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Withdraw consent for us to contact you at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below. We'll respond within 5 business days.

Children's Privacy

Our services are directed at business owners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
